This notice explains storage used by Ariadia LLC’s Academy at learn.ariadia.com. Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. Browser session storage and local storage can also help a requested feature work. Our Privacy Notice explains the related information processing.

Necessary sign-in cookies

__Host-ocbdc_learner_session

Recognizes a learner’s signed-in session after password and code verification; expires after up to seven days unless ended earlier.

Member verification challenge

A secure, short-lived cookie connects your browser to the current sign-in verification step. It expires after 10 minutes or is cleared after successful verification. It does not grant account access.

__Host-ocbdc_admin_session

Recognizes an authorized management session. Set at management sign-in; expires after up to eight hours unless ended earlier.

These production cookies are restricted to the Academy host, sent over secure connections and unavailable to ordinary page scripts. Signing out clears the corresponding cookie. Historical “ocbdc” text in their technical names does not change the service operator. We retain those names to avoid disrupting account access.

Invitations and interactive learning

A company/team invitation may temporarily use tab session storage under ocbdc-team-invite to preserve the invitation while you sign in. It is removed after successful acceptance and normally ends with the browser’s tab session. Interactive learning packages can use storage needed for the activity; browser restrictions may instead keep this information only in memory. Your saved learning progress is also held in the Academy account, separately from browser storage.

External video players and payment pages

An embedded YouTube or Vimeo recording is not loaded until you choose its “Load player” button. Loading it sends technical information such as your network address and browser details to that provider, which may use cookies or similar storage. We request YouTube’s privacy-enhanced host and Vimeo’s do-not-track option; those settings do not eliminate all provider processing. You may leave the player unloaded or use a provided transcript when available.

Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing portal are separate payment pages. When you open them, Stripe may use its own necessary security, fraud-prevention and service storage. External websites opened from the Academy operate under their own notices.

Analytics, advertising and your controls

The current Academy application does not include advertising pixels or cross-site analytics integrations. Optional member-planning insights are based on separately chosen profile information, not an advertising cookie. No optional analytics or advertising cookie is enabled by accepting the Terms or creating an account.

The Academy does not currently apply a separate automatic response to browser Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. The necessary session and security functions described above remain active when you use them. This does not limit any privacy right that applies to you; send an applicable opt-out or other privacy request to academy.privacy@ariadia.com.

You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking sign-in cookies can prevent access to protected lessons or account tools; clearing local activity storage can remove unsaved work. Browser storage controls do not erase information already saved in your Academy account. To change profile sharing or insights participation, use the privacy center.
